ABOUT MINSHULL’S
John and Mary Minshull purchased the land the Garden Centre sits on in 1990.
John and Mary started a small plant nursery to complement their many market stalls. After years of hard work the nursery soon grew and began to establish itself as a Garden Centre.
All of John and Mary’s children followed them from weekend jobs in to the business. After further developments to the site which included adding a Farm Shop and Butchers counter, Coffee Shop/ Restaurant, the business expanded and John and Mary retired in 2019.
The business is now run by their grown up children Karl, Steven, Laura and Karl’s wife, Charlotte and remains a family business. They have Recently been joined by Steven’s wife, Emily who looks after the website and social media platforms.
Providing customers with well priced products and a friendly, helpful place to shop is at the core of our customer service, helping us to gain loyal customers who have supported us and allowed us to grow.
