JOIN OUR TEAM FRONT OF HOUSE TEAM MEMBER Restaurant vacancy. Responsible for Serving customers at the front of the house. Purpose and objectives of the role: To serve and look after customers. Keep the Restaurant clean and tidy. Main duties and responsibilities : Take orders, run food • Make hot drinks using and espresso machine, working on multiple orders • Use a till • Keeping Restaurant clean during service and at end of the day. • Working to health & hygiene standards • Any other duties reasonably requested. Special Requirements: Must be able to communicate well and work as part of a team. Must be happy working in a busy environment. The Restaurant gets very busy so must be able to work well under pressure whilst maintaining a good level of customer service. Days of week – SUNDAY 10.30 TO 4PM AND WEDNESDAY 9AM TO 5PM MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OTHER SHIFTS INCLUDING BANK HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS.
PART TIME KITCHEN ASSISTANT Restaurant Vacancy. Responsible for: Preparing food & Cooking food as part of kitchen team Purpose and objectives of the role: Prepare food for days service using traditional, local ingredients. Putting together Salads, Sandwiches, Toast and other ingredients. Main duties and responsibilities: Preparing food for the day. • Putting together Salads, Sandwiches, Toast and other ingredients for customer. Working on multiple orders and getting food out in good time and to a good standard. • Keeping Kitchen clean during service and at end of the day. • Working to health & hygiene standards • Any other duties reasonably requested. Special Requirements: Must be able to communicate well and work as part of a team. Must be happy working in a hot environment. The kitchen gets very busy so must be able to work well under pressure. Days of week: FRIDAY 8AM TO 5PM AND SATURDAY 8AM TO 5PM MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OTHER SHIFTS INCLUDING BANK HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS.
KITCHEN HELPER/POT WASHER Restaurant vacancy. Responsible for: Washing dishes. Purpose and objectives of the role: Loading and unloading of dishes and pots. Main duties and responsibilities: • Loading, unloading and putting away of dishes • Handwashing dishes • Keeping kitchen area clean • Assisting where necessary with any basic kitchen prep • Any other duties reasonably requested Special Requirements. Must be able to communicate well and work as part of a team. The kitchen gets very busy so must be able to work well under pressure. 20 min break for a days shift. Days of week: TUESDAY & THURSDAY 8AM TO 5PM MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OTHER SHIFTS INCLUDING BANK HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS.
PART TIME COOK Restaurant vacancy. Responsible for: Preparing food & Cooking Hot food as part of kitchen team. Purpose and objectives of the role: Prepare food for days service using traditional, local ingredients. Cooking of hot food working as part of a team. Main duties and responsibilities: • Preparing food for the day. • Cooking hot food with the assistance of 2 others, working on multiple orders and getting food out in good time and to a good standard. • Keeping Kitchen clean during service and at end of the day. • Working to health & hygiene standards • Any other duties reasonably requested. Special Requirements: Must be able to communicate well and work as part of a team. Must be happy working in a hot environment. The kitchen gets very busy so must be able to work well under pressure. Days of week: MONDAY 8AM TO 5PM AND SATURDAY 8AM TO 5PM OR 6.30AM TO 4PM MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OTHER SHIFTS INCLUDING BANK HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS.
OUTDOOR GARDEN CENTRE Purpose and objectives of the role Care for the Plants. Main duties and responsibilities: Care for the plants as directed, include potting, weeding and watering, helping customers with queries, assisting with merchandising of stock, assisting other departments when directed. Special Requirements: Must be able to work well under pressure and at a fast paced. Must have a good eye for customer service. Must be willing to work weekends. 2 vacancies: Sunday 9am to 4pm* Monday 9am to 5pm, Tuesday 9am to 5pm, Wednesday 9am to 5pm, Thursday 9am to 5pm. These hours may be subject to season changes. An 8am start may be required at times so some degree of flexibility is needed.
